We want everyone to be able to use the Ponteland Decorators website, including people who use assistive technology or who find some websites hard to use. This statement explains what we do and how to tell us about problems.
What we aim for
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA where reasonably possible. We have not had the site independently audited, so we cannot claim full conformance.
What we have done
- Used headings, lists and landmarks so pages can be navigated with a screen reader.
- Made the site usable with a keyboard, with visible focus indication.
- Chosen text sizes and colour contrast intended to be readable, and designed pages to work on phones, tablets and computers.
- Labelled the fields on our enquiry form and provided clear error messages.
- Offered a telephone number as an alternative to the online form.
Known limitations
Some content may not yet meet every guideline. Photographs may not always have detailed descriptions, and some third-party websites that we link to may not be fully accessible. We are working to improve the site as we find issues.
Tell us about a problem
If you find a part of the site hard to use, or need information in another format, please call us on 07960 485 880 or use the contact form. Tell us the page, what went wrong, and the device or assistive technology you use, and we will do our best to help or provide the information another way.
If you are not happy with our response
In Great Britain you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) if you feel your complaint has not been handled properly.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 30 September 2026 and is based on our own review of the site. We will update it as things change.
